The National Math Salute (VIDEO!)

At long last … here it is on YouTube!

I’ve been spreading the word of this salute for over a decade, but now it is time for the power of social media to take hold and truly make this a national, international, if not, galactic affair!

Can you figure out the salute? (I’ve also given the answer away!)

AND WHY IS IT CALLED A MATH SALUTE?
This “salute” become popular in my school in Boston. It was the rule that if ever saluted to, you must salute back! (And so the game was to salute someone at awkward moments – while carrying books, while rushing past, etc.)
